Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the only female ever to win the CrossFit Games two times. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and media celebrity. She became famous for becoming the first woman to have taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, as well as 2017 she was the winner of in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was raised through her mother and father living in Reykjavik Iceland. As a fitness enthusiast since a young age she participated in numerous school competitions and also won numerous awards. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. Her height stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie started her CrossFit experience in California in the year 2009. She was successful in her first games, finishing within the top 10 in the rankings. She did not manage to make it to the top of the tournament, and ended the tournament with a score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen guided her to an overall second place in CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. In her second year that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she was the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie again won her first CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who won the two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. And in 2021, she won the bronze medal. Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face of many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and Sidekick Yerbae. There are a few thousand subscribers to her own Youtube Channel, where training videos along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are uploaded.
